A Prayer for Muslims

Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, our thanks and praise to you that you desire all people to be saved and come to a knowledge of your Truth. Humbly we bring before You the multitude of Muslims throughout the world who have not yet come to the knowledge of Your salvation in Jesus Christ.

O God, our hope and our trust is in You alone. We ask You in Your mercy to send more laborers among Muslims. Grant us Your Holy Spirit in this day of opportunity that we, too, may seriously ponder Your claim upon us to be witnesses of Your Gospel among them, whether in this land or abroad.

We thank You for those already in service among Muslims. Endow them with love, understanding and patience so that they continue to recognize the privilege of their calling and to faithfully persevere in their various ministries.

Where your Word is faithfully proclaimed among Muslims, O God, open their hearts that they would perceive Your true greatness in Your holiness and love which You have manifested in Your Son, Jesus Christ. As they pray for guidance upon the straight path, reveal unto them Jesus as the Way, the Truth, and the Life for them also. When in their distress they seek refuge from Satan, let them find their rest and solace in Jesus. By His cross and resurrection move them to measure fully the dimension of Your mercy and compassion in the forgiveness of their sin. Through Your Holy Spirit, enable them, who now look upon themselves as Your servants, also to know You as their dear Heavenly Father and themselves as Your dear children.

Strengthen the faith of new converts. Give courage to those who vacillate. Comfort those who are persecuted. Open the closed doors of those Muslim nations where the message of Your Gospel at present cannot be freely proclaimed.

Heavenly Father, may many Muslims, knowing You as the one true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent, come from the East and the West to sit at the table with Abraham in Your Kingdom. In the blessed Name of Jesus.
Amen
A PRAYER FOR LEADERS

HEAVENLY FATHER, with a humble heart and a thankful spirit we approach You in prayer.

We thank You for our country, our Constitution, and our military and political leaders.

We pray for the President, and for every elected and appointed official who serves.

We pray that You will build a spiritual wall of protection around the marriage and family

of every national, state, and local minister.

We pray that You will give them the wisdom and the courage to uphold a Constitution

which establishes a republic based on Your absolute laws,

not a democracy based on the changing whims of man's reasoning.

We pray that our leaders will study, understand, and follow the principles of Your Word, the Bible.

May they realize that all authority comes from You, not the voters,

and that one day they will stand before You

to give an account of the power You have given to them.

Please strengthen our leaders through Your Word

to cast down every law, policy, and personal example

which weakens marriages, families, or Your moral standards.

We say this prayer trusting in the promise of Your Word,

that if we will humble ourselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways,

then You will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land.

We pray that You will rebuke Satan, the father of lies,

for the deception of his lie that mankind can be "as gods"

in deciding for ourselves what is right and what is wrong.

We pray for the leaders in Your church.

Bless the shepherds as they look out for themselves and the flock.

Bless the deacons, teachers, and evangelists' to serve with patience and love.

Bless each member to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We also take this time to pray for each soul who surfs this web site.

Bless them with humble hearts to accept the truth of Your Word.

Please bless them to obey your teachings

and give them the courage to teach the truth to others.

Father, may You continue to be glorified in the church by Jesus Christ

throughout all ages, world without end.

In the name of the One who holds the seven stars in His right hand…

by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray.

AMEN!
Psalm 51

1 Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I know my transgressions. My sin is constantly before me.
4 Against you, and you only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight; that you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.
5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity. In sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts. You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
7 Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Let me hear joy and gladness, That the bones which you have broken may rejoice.
9 Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all of my iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.
11 Don't throw me from your presence, and don't take your holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners shall be converted to you.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness.
15 Lord, open my lips. My mouth shall declare your praise.
16 For you don't delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
18 Do well in your good pleasure to Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and in whole burnt offerings. Then they will offer bulls on your altar.

Confession:-

Lord God,
We have sinned against you;
We have done evil in your sight.
We are sorry and repent.
Have mercy on us according to your love.
Wash away our wrongdoing and cleanse us from our sin.
Renew a right spirit within us
and restore us to the joy of your salvation,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for the lost...

Father, hear us as we ask You to rescue the lost from the domain of darkness and bring them into the kingdom of Your Son. You alone can draw and enable them. You alone can send Your Holy Spirit with power to convict them of the sin in their life and their need to repent and believe in Your truth--that Jesus is the only way to You, that He alone is the way, the truth and the life.

Father, we ask you to forgive the sins of the lost. We come in Jesus’ name to demolish the strongholds in their minds that those sins have allowed. We come in the authority of Jesus’ name to overcome the power of the enemy in their lives, to ask You to bind evil spirits away from them in the name of Jesus and the blood of the Lamb through the word of our testimony.

We come against the blinding of their minds and ask that You send someone to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light; help us to be willing to go. Father, don’t let their hearts be hardened, but open their hearts to receive Your truth. Rip away any veil that covers their hearts, any false teaching that confuses their minds. Help them to hear your Word with power and conviction as the Word of God and not the word of man. Give them understanding, so that Satan will not be able to steal Your Word from their hearts.

Father, help them see their need for a Savior, to know they must confess their sins, repent and believe--or they perish. Help them choose Your mercy and Your gift of faith, to believe with their hearts and confess with their mouths, Jesus is Lord. We ask in Your will, that not any should perish. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Eph 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Eph 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Eph 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Eph 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Eph 3:21 Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
